Merzouga camel trekking

Merzouga Camel Trekking and Overnight Desert Camp begin daily from Merzouga town. A member of our team will meet you at a guest house and guide you on where to park your car if you have one. The Merzouga camel ride usually starts at 5 pm, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing you to explore the sand dunes. Along the way, you’ll witness the beautiful sunset before continuing the camel trek to the camp.

We offer two camp options: the Standard Berber camp and the luxury desert camp. Upon arrival at the camp, you’ll be greeted with a cup of mint tea, followed by dinner accompanied by traditional Berber music. Afterward, you’re free to stroll on the dunes and gaze at the stars.

On the second day, an early wake-up call allows you to witness the breathtaking sunrise behind Erg Chebbi Dunes. Following breakfast, you’ll embark on a camel ride back to Merzouga town, marking the conclusion of our Merzouga camel ride and overnight Desert Camp in Erg Chebbi.
